Vegas Outfit Roundup

Las Vegas is one of my favorite places to visit. Mostly because it consists of three of my favorite pastimes: 1.pool time, 2.party time, and 3.date nights with my love. As promised, here is a Vegas outfit roundup of from my recent trip to Las Vegas! Since it was 112 degrees, I opted for easy sundresses and fun swimsuits to keep me feeling cool and stylish!

VEGAS OUTFIT DETAILS:

My size: swimsuit – small

This swimsuit has quickly become one of the favorites I own. It has a little bit of flair with the ruffles and deep plunge, but still covers up my stomach. You can easily put on a pair of shorts to head to lunch and it looks like a cute and trendy bodysuit. I wore it to the Wynn pool while I sipped on Aperol Spritzes!  Olive green is one of my favorite colors, but it also comes in a pretty mauve pink!

After a relaxing day at the spa, I opted for a pretty maxi dress for date night with Dan. I got this dress at  Modcloth’s DC pop up a couple years ago, and had it tailored to fit me perfectly. Even though the dress is over a year old, Modcloth still carries it because it is SUCH a beautiful and popular dress! You can see how I styled this dress way back when my blog was a baby and I was super blonde in this post.

I figured that if there is somewhere where you can get away with a short, red, bodycon dress, it is Vegas. This dress is really stretchy and I was able to wear it without a bra, which is super rare for me! I wore it to watch my blogger besty, Dani, and her husband renew their vows at The Little White Wedding Chapel inside the pink Cadillac behind me (you can read more about that here).

We continued the celebration to dinner, then to see Calvin Harris DJ at the Omnia Club. Basically, this dress was able to take me from wedding to clubbing all in one day. Versatile indeed, and very comfortable!

I wore this white pom pom swimsuit to the Encore Beach Club on Saturday afternoon. It comes with matching high-waisted bottoms, which I regret not wearing. Instead, I decided to wear another pair of bottoms so that I wouldn’t get any tan lines. Oh well! I linked the bottoms above so you can see what they look like!

This blue chiffon dress is one of my go-to’s for travel and daytime. Remember when I styled it with sneakers? Everyone has that one piece in their suitcase that they might wear multiple times on a trip because it is perfect for that random 2 hours you have in the day when you don’t necessarily want to wear a new outfit. For instance, running to get coffee, grabbing a quick brunch, or you need something to put on top of your suit to head to the pool. I remember when LOFT released it, it was an instant sell-out. I wish i would have bought it in a size smaller, though. They still have some sizes left!

Admittedly, I wear this dress too much. I brought it on my last trip to DC, too! In Vegas, I wore it to walk around and shop with Dan on Saturday evening. The blousy ruffles are forgiving, especially on your last night of vacation when you might feel a bit bloated from indulging.

I’ve tried the airport chic look, but I always feel more comfortable in flats and soft clothing with a couple of layers. This jean jacket from Old Navy and the softest tee in the universe (which is on sale and comes in 6 colors) are the perfect combo. I bedazzled my jean jacket with a couple of pins that I got as a freebie from Sephora. One is a unicorn and the other is a couple of hearts! You can kind of see them on my left pocket.

If you’re in the market for jean shorts, but are sick of only finding booty shorts, then be ready to shout hallelujah! I got these high waisted and age-appropriate shorts at Express, and I’ve been wearing them nonstop. I sized down to a 2 (I usually wear a 4) and they fit so perfectly. No booty hanging out and no butt crack-age!

That’s all for Vegas! Our trip home went smoothly and we arrived home to two fluffy and attention-deprived boy cats!
