Friday Fizz: Tropical Fashion Vibes

Happy Friday! I’m so happy to finally be home this weekend. While I love traveling, it is nice to be at my own apartment, with my own kitchen, full closet, endless lipstick options, and my kitties.

I’m endlessly inspired by all the tropical fashion print goodies that are out this season. I picked a few fun finds that are all under $75! Most are way below that, though!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Just a quick note about my favorite sale of the year before I jump into the tropical fashion vibes. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finally opens to the public today! Up until now, only Nordstrom cardholders were able to access the incredible fall sales. My picks are all here, and I plan to post a try-on session of all my items once they arrive! Make sure you snag all the fall basics you will need before the prices go back up on August 5.

Tropical Fashion Vibes

There is this floating tiki boat that goes up and down the river in Chicago. Those of you who have visited may have seen it. And if you’re a local then you definitely know what I’m talking about. I imagine myself someday riding said boat, wearing a head-to-toe tropical ensemble. The shoes from this post, the skirt from this outfit, and this kimono. Possibly overkill, but also not.

So, yes, I’m a huge fan of palm and tropical fashion print in decor, too. I just put this bedspread on our bed at home (I had to have it), and I even had a tropical laptop skin prior to my computer crapping out on me. This candle is one of my absolute favorites – it is the one that is always burning in Anthropologie stores and smells like you just stepped into a Caribbean oasis.
