What Should Be in your Maui Packing List: Cute Outfit Round Up

A Complete Maui Packing List:

Our trip to Maui was totally magical. But so were my packing skills – if I may toot my own horn! I packed flowy dresses for evening dinners and day trips, a couple of structured bathing suits from a new favorite all-inclusive swimwear brand, a few sweaters and beach coverups, and activewear for our hiking excursions. A far as footwear, sneakers, flat sandals, and a couple pairs of heeled sandals. Overall, my wardrobe was a success! So here’s my Maui packing list! Summersalt is quickly becoming one of my favorite swimwear brands. The swimsuits are well made; not that flimsy cheap nonsense. I love all the cute styles!

This easy beach dress is a fab Amazon find. It’s super affordable and comes in a few different colors! I sized up for the baby bump.

I’ve been loving stretchy bodycon dresses during my pregnancy. My favorites are the ones from Ingrid & Isabel and they’re definitely worth the investment. I have the one I’m wearing in black too and I wear them both so much.

We went to the Old Lahaina Luau (the BEST!) so I decided to dress up. This dress is non-maternity and the most beautiful rusty red color!

Another outfit for evening shopping and dinner. I picked up this dress one one of my Woodfield Mall shopping trips. In true blogger fashion, I couldn’t pass up a photo in front of the orchid wall!

I saw another blogger wearing this dress and thought it was from Free People. NOPE! It’s from Forever 21! I recommend snatching it up before it sells out, though.

I didn’t realize how muddy it would be on our coffee farm tour. Admittedly, I was not prepared in this outfit. I tied my dress up with a hair tie for the tour, hence the wrinkly-ness in the photo. But I promise the wrinkles steam out beautifully!

The Road to Hana was a stunning experience. Zooming through the edge of the jungle in our little rented convertible is one of those memories I will never forget.

I started having some pregnancy-related rib issues while we were in Hawaii, so I wanted to be as comfortable as possible for the long road trip. I found this 2-pack of maternity leggings on Amazon for super cheap, and I’ve been wearing them religiously. I wish I could link the exact striped tee I’m wearing, because it is THE MOST comfortable tee ever. In the Nordstrom Sale next year, I’m buying one in every color. It’s called the B.P. Raw Edge Scoop Neck Tee.

The last day of vacation was sad, but as Dan always says, it’s not so bad to go home to cats. I wore this cute white eyelet sundress for our last evening. We had dinner and watched the beautiful Maui sunset one last time! I really like this dress because it is specifically designed for before, during, and after baby. So I can keep wearing it even after my pregnancy is over!

Maui Beauty Routine

My beauty routine is always a little different on a beach vacation. I don’t like to wear too much makeup during the day. Just a tinted moisturizer, spf, and a little colored lip balm. In the evening, I wear the same tinted moisturizer with some bronzer, mascara, and sometimes a fancy lip.

I always bring WAY too many lip colors on vacation, but this time I exercised some restraint, haha! You never know what your mood is going to be, right!? I picked one every day color and one bold evening color. Winky Lux glimmer ph balm in rosé goes on clear, then adjusts to your body’s natural ph creating your own perfectly pink lip color. I am pretty obsessed, and got some of my friends hooked on it as well! As a plus, it is very moisturizing! Nars Heat Wave is the bold lip I brought on this trip. It is the perfect orangey red for vacation!
