Spring Colors that Make Me Happy

How was your weekend!? We went to tea at the Drake Hotel, and it’s one of my favorite activities in the city It reminds of me the time we went to Fortnum and Mason in London! I love dressing up, sipping tea, eating scones slathered in lemon curd, and people watching. Other than that, I’ve been trying my best to walk 10,000 steps a day. It’s a great form of exercise for my 6-month pregnant self, and it makes me feel accomplished to walk at least that much every day. Plus getting my heart rate up every day helps me sleep so much better. So Dan and I went on many walks around the neighborhood!

To the theme of this post: there are three colors/color palettes that stand out to me this spring. Not only are they trending hard core, but they truly lift my spirits. Certain colors create a mood, and these three Spring colors are the happiest of them all.

Yellow

A sunny yellow always gets me in the mood for spring. This yellow dress is one of my favorites right now (I sized up for the bump), and it’s a great dupe for this Free People version! Lavender

Lavender is calming, and reminds me of the beautiful flowering trees I’ve been seeing around my neighborhood on our walks. I have this romantic tiered maxi dress and wear it all the time, and I just got the softest lavender cardigan on sale. Pair a lavender dress with your favorite denim jacket, a crisp white blazer, or another pastel hue!

 

Rainbow

I know rainbow isn’t a color, but I’m loving the trend. And it certainly makes me happy! Why not breeze into dinner wearing a gorgeous colorful rainbow dress? I just got this one for $19 and this one is in my cart.

    I am loving all the rainbow colored dresses that I see on retailers website or social media! Colors definitely has a way of making me feel happier and I won’t deny myself that!
