I don’t know about you, but I was using the same old hair dryer that I purchased about 10 years ago. Some of you guys might be using hair dryers that are even older than that! A hair dryer is admittedly one of those purchases that you make when your old one dies, then you forget that technology is improving. Wait a second – hair dryer technology!? Why yes! As in all electronic categories, your hair dryer is probably becoming a dinosaur as faster, lighter, and more efficient models are becoming available.

I was suffering through 10 minute blow dry sessions that weren’t serving me. My hair was always frizzy afterwards, and my arm would feel like jell-o from holding the appliance. The Maxodo Hair Dryer is Super Lightweight

I rarely traveled with my old hair dryer because it was heavy and took up a lot of space. This one is compact and light. You could easily nestle it in your carry on or throw it in your gym bag. It weighs under a pound, so it won’t take up precious poundage in your checked bag, either. I particularly like that I doesn’t feel like I just did an arm workout after drying my hair. For reference, a basic hair dryer that you’d find at Walgreens weighs about twice as much.

Ionic Technology Keeps Your Hair Soft and Silky

My previous blow dryer was not ionic. Ionic hair dryer technology releases 200 million negative ions during the drying process, leaving your hair feeling soft, silky, and smooth. Negative ions help repel water, lock in moisture, and give your hair a healthy, natural shine. I noticed less frizz and quicker drying time on my first use!

As for drying time, it definitely dries faster. Drying my hair used to take 7 minutes. and now it takes a little under 5 minutes. Believe me, I timed it for you! For busy people like us, those extra two minutes makes a difference! And since your hair dries silkier, you don have to waste time smoothing it out with a flat iron afterwards.

The Hair Dryer Comes with Helpful Magnetic Accessories

The hair dryer comes with a pointed nozzle, a diffuser for my curly friends, and a cute canvas travel bag to protect your stuff. The two different nozzles easily attach magnetically. The magnet is pretty strong, so it doesn’t fall off when you are using it. That would be super annoying!

There are 4 Heat Settings

Most modern hair dryers have the awesome feature of multiple heat options. With the press of a button, the dryer will switch from hight heat, medium heat, a hot + cool alternate setting, and cool air. Each setting corresponds with a red, yellow, orange, or green light on the back of the machine. It’s nice to be able to change the heat setting so you have the least amount of heat damage. There are also two different airflow settings: high and low.

When I diffuse my hair, I typically like to use a low airflow setting. Otherwise the high airflow is my go-to. The hair airflow setting isn’t very loud so you don’ have to worry about waking people up or disturbing others. Some blow dryers sound like someone is literally screaming at you. Not this one.
