Hi! I’m Roxanne! I’m 30 and currently living in Chicago with my wonderful husband and two giant cats (Jake and Elwood). I worked as an attorney for two years in Cleveland, Ohio. In August 2015, we got married and moved to D.C. After two wonderful years in DC, we landed in Chicago!
My husband and I are high school sweethearts! We met when I was 14 (he was 15) and we ended up going to Miami University and Cleveland State University’s law school together. He just did it all a year ahead of me. We were together for 10 years before we finally got married.
Once we moved to DC I craved a reason to write creatively and a way to share my outfits and beauty favorites. I created Glass of Glam to write about things that I enjoy and to inspire others to live their best life. I have to say that starting my blog is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! It helped me make lifelong friends in DC, and I’m inspired every day by them. You can find some of my favorite blogs here.
When I’m not lawyering or creating content for Glass of Glam, I love going to the gym! My workout of choice is Crossfit (my gym is Old City Crossfit) because I like feeling strong and it gets me the body I want! I have been eating mostly paleo/gluten free since May of 2016 because I find that my body doesn’t like gluten (it makes me bloated and I feel yucky).
Otherwise, I love trying out new restaurants in DC, browsing my favorite stores, cuddling on the couch with cats (Jake is the gray and white one, Elwood is the gray one), trying out a new recipe, or enjoying a glass of wine.
I have a large collection of lipstick, drink lots of coffee, and am always looking forward to my next travel adventure.
