Easy Summer Whites

Summer dressing is so easy. I go in my closet, pick out a cute flowy dress, a complimentary pair of shoes, and I’m on my way. No need to deal with complex layering, too much pattern mixing, or color matching. What makes it so much easier? The perfect little white dress. Ingrid & Isabel (one of my ride or die maternity brands the past 8 months) sent me this cute little white summer dress that has grown with my belly and will look absolutely fine post-partum (it comes in a mini size for your little nugget, too!). I wore it in Hawaii during my awkward-belly stage, and can still wear it 4 months later!

I love a good white dress, and happen to have a bunch on watch for when they go on sale. This tiered rickrack dress is kind of perfect, and I need this popover silhouette for fall, especially since the shape will be so forgiving after baby comes! I also love that a white dress is a fabulous palette for my vast collection of colorful statement earrings. Baublebar is actually having a huge sale until 8/6, where everything included is just $10! That’s a big deal, especially because their earrings are typically in the $35-$50 range. I’m a sucker and paid $34 for these (but I seriously love them) and I’m about to swipe these before you all do, haha.

Magnificent 8 – White Dresses!

The Magnificent 8 is back, and we’re styling our own take on white dresses! We styled bathing suits last July, distressed denim in October, Activewear in January, colorful patterns in April, and we’re back with a summery theme!

The Magnificent 8 is a collaboration among 8 stylish women from every decade of life (teens all the way up to 80s!) showcasing our style one generation at a time. And I’m representing the 30-somethings! The mission of our collaboration is to show you just how ageless style is, how we can each dress however we’d like and in ways that make us feel fabulous.
