Grocery Shopping In My Winter Activewear
Okay, so while it might technically be activewear, this is my “do everything” wear. This outfit is basically my uniform on these cold winter days. As soon as I get home from work, I throw on my new fuzzy pullover and a favorite pair of leggings.
Today, you caught me in my winter activewear at Mariano’s, one of our favorite grocery stores here in Chicago. Since we’re having a polar vortex (the temperature is at a maximum of -12 degrees today, ouch) we ran out to do some grocery shopping last night. We figured we would be home-bound for a couple of days. I personally don’t want to go anywhere when the news is threatening frostbite to those who are outside for more than 5 minutes. No thanks.
And what a birthday gift it is, haha! Today also happens to be my 31st birthday! But to be honest, there’s nothing I’d rather do than snuggle at home with my love and kitties. And full disclosure: I’ll probably be wearing this same outfit tomorrow, too. No judgment, it’s my birthday I can do what I want, haha.

Roxanne, you are too adorable! So when I photographed my outfit for this post, I did not work out but proceeded through my day in the outfit. I like your term…”do everything wear”. Because why not be comfortable running errands. I probably should have added my cozy snow boots with my workout wear, too, because I was freezing running around outside with bare ankles! And it looks super cute…so thanks for that inspiration!
