8+ Months and Nearly There!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! We saw the new Spiderman movie, did a little more baby prepping (did you see her adorable nursery!?), and enjoyed a couple of Chicago’s famous street festivals (Wicker Park Fest and Taste of Lincoln Ave.) Summer in Chicago is seriously the best.
With just over two weeks away from meeting Baby Glam, PLUS this scorching heat, there are some things that I’ve been happily avoiding. Some are forced, like a cool glass of rosé, which might sound delightful except I can’t get enough water these days. Other things, like pants, are just downright not happening in this heat. Trying to get pants off at 8 months pregnant is kind of hilarious as it is.
Luckily, we had a coolish day when I put together this summer maternity outfit. Interestingly, I found that my favorite maternity denim have been on both sides of the price spectrum! My two favorites are this pair by Seven Jeans, and this pair from Old Navy. Both are comfortable, stay up, and make my legs look nice. Just goes to show you that you don’t have to pay more for something that you personally love – try everything and stick with what you like!
