Styling A Linen Outfit
For our quarterly blogger collaboration, we decided to style some easy breezy linen! I’m really excited about this one because my favorite outfits at the moment happen to be linen. My coastal grandma heart is so happy.
Lately I went on a bender of ordering comfortable outfits and returning about 90% of what I ordered. These high waisted, wide leg linen pants and this perfect linen top were immediate keepers.
This linen button down top is so versatile. You can wear it half tucked, unbuttoned as a coverup, or tied for a cute and casual look, which is what I did! It comes in a bunch of colors, but I felt that white would get the most wear. Since the top is only $26 I’m thinking of going back for the black, too! I admit I must have ordered 4 pairs of linen pants until I finally found this pair! They are currently on sale and they are the actual best. High waisted, thick so you can’t see your underpants through. I’m beyond happy with them. The color I have is called weeping willow, and I’m wearing a small.
I recently got this linen shorts + top set from Target (it is actually pajamas) and I’m a huge fan. I wear it all the time, too.

The Magnificent 8
I can’t believe I ghosted the last Magnificent 8 collab! I’m so embarrassed! The ladies styled thrifted outfits in April and I missed out on a fab theme. I was overwhelmed with an 8 week old and becoming a mom of two, so I had to skip out for my sanity. But I’m back with my second blog post of the WEEK! Woohoo! It feels good!
For the last collab I participated in we styled vests! We were inspired by ads last summer, did statement pants for spring, an “outside the box” styling theme last January, pearls, a yellow theme last July, a garden theme, styled vintage and heirloom pieces, and now we’re back with another fun styling theme. We try to have fun with these!
The Magnificent 8 is a collaboration among 8 stylish women, each in a different age bracket, ranging from early 20’s to early 80’s. The mission of this collaboration is to show you just how ageless style is, how we can each dress however we’d like and in ways that make us feel fabulous. There are no age restrictions on style. So wear what you want, when you want, add a smile, and strut your style with confidence. Be sure to check out all 7 of these amazing gals! And make sure you check back in October for our next collaboration!
Let me re-introduce the ladies of The Magnificent 8. Head to the blogs below to see the vests each of us wore!

A bender?? I love how you called it that. I’m totally using that term next time I buy a bunch of things.
And you cracked me up how your coastal grandma is happy with this linen. It really is so perfect for the summer weather, isn’t it?
