Welcome Baby Rosie!
We welcomed Rose Florence into our lives on February 24! I took a little maternity leave from posting this past month, just to soak in all the baby snuggles and have some family time.
Rosie came 10 days before her due date, just like her sister! Honestly, I was expecting her to come early so it wasn’t a huge surprise. She was 8lb 2 oz (so big!) which explains why I was so uncomfortable.
Sidney is loving her little sister and is adjusting to her big sister role. Although, being a big sister hasn’t distracted Sidney from her toddler shenanigans. She still loves to dress up in silly outfits, do art, and run around outside. She loves letting me know when Rosie is crying, helps to clean up, and brings Rosie her pacifier. I love watching them interact and know the they will be great friends some day! I’m so happy that I gave Sidney a sister.
We still aren’t getting much sleep, but we are so happy. The newborn stage goes by so quickly, so I’m trying to slow down and soak up every moment before it blows by!
