PINK LILY SWEATER | SPANX FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS | PEARL HEADBAND
Cozy At Home In my Pearl Headband
I’m back with another blog post this week! I’ve always loved feminine elements. Bows, lace, ruffles, and pearls. But staying at home with a toddler doesn’t really call for fun details. In fact, if I wanted to wear my beautiful pearl necklace one day just for the heck of it, Sidney would probably try to yank it off. She really likes jewelry. Just like her mom.
So I was trying to think of ways to wear pearls without actually wearing a traditional strand. I came across this amazing velvet and pearl headband when I was perusing Amazon. It’s perfect for third day hair when you just need a little volume. It comes in a bunch of colors, but the off white is my favorite. Since we were stuck at home all day, I wore the comfiest v-print sweater with my trusty Spanx faux leather leggings.
Check out other ways you can wear pearls! These bee brooches are SO fabulous and look like Gucci! They could easily go from sweater to sweater all winter long. This sweatshirt would be so cute for lounging around on Thanksgiving. And these pearl slippers would make awesome gifts for all the girls.
p.s. Check out the posts if you’re looking for more nontraditional pearl styling! And the ladies in the Magnificent 8 are sure you style pearls in the most inspiring ways!
The Magnificent 8
The Magnificent 8 is back and this time we all decided to style pearls! We did a yellow theme in July, a garden theme in April, styled vintage and heirloom pieces in January, animal print in October, and white dresses last July, and now we’re back with another fun styling theme.
The Magnificent 8 is a collaboration among 8 stylish women, each in a different age bracket, ranging from early 20’s to early 80’s. The mission of this collaboration is to show you just how ageless style is, how we can each dress however we’d like and in ways that make us feel fabulous. There are no age restrictions on style. So wear what you want, when you want, add a smile, and strut your style with confidence. Be sure to check out all 7 of these amazing gals! And make sure you check back in January for our next collaboration!
Let me introduce the ladies of The Magnificent 8. Head to the blogs below to see how each of us styled our pearls!

I absolutely love this outfit, Roxanne! It’s so cozy yet chic at the same time. And the headband is the perfect baby-friendly accessory. 🙂
Miles of smiles,
You’ve made me realize that I lack pearl-encrusted accessories in my wardrobe and you’re so making me want to add some. Thanks for the great ideas for items I need to get.

I love how they’re using pearls to decorate anything. and you were smart to wear it on your head like that. Sydney has great genes and will be wearing your pearls in no time !!
Such a cute way to dress up a cosy comfy outfit a little – the embellished headband looks so cute on you! And I know what you mean – I had to switch to baby friendly jewellery when the kids were little – lots of teething necklaces and no extra bracelets as they loved to pull on things, especially while breastfeeding! Even now they love tugging on my necklaces and bracelets when getting cuddles – but at least they understand the words “be gentle” now they are a little older, haha!
Hope that your week is going well 🙂
