Cozy Sherpa Clothing
It’s cozy sherpa-land over here in Chicagoland. The trees are all changing, the days are getting shorter, my iced coffee order has transitioned to hot, and we’re bundling up for our daily walks.
I recently popped into my local Old Navy one evening after Sidney went to sleep. Let me just tell you that I never appreciated shopping alone until I had a child. I do love shopping with Sidney, but sometimes I feel like I’m rushing against a ticking bomb, and constantly bribing said bomb with snacks and entertainment. I have a little joke with her where I say “what did you say at Costco?” and she goes “RAAAWR!” It’s cute that even she knows that she likes to announce her presence at every store we enter.
Solo Shopping Sesh!
So I silently perused each and every rack at Old Navy at my leisure – such a treat! When I saw this sherpa jacket I went running. Bloggers have been going nuts about sherpa recently. I guess I’m no exception. This color (which I love) is called Southwest Sand. How ironic. Nobody in the southwest sand needs this cozy jacket. It has the little thumb holes that make it extra cozy.
I also picked out a new pair of button-front jeans. Old Navy Rockstar jeans are my longtime favorites because they’re stretchy and affordable. See more of my collection styled here! I’m on the short side (5’1″) so the mid rise is still highish rise on me. I’m wearing a size 4 for reference!

I hear you on shopping alone…I hate taking my kids shopping and I never enjoyed it because they were always little beasts in public places! Hahaha. But now they are older, I have the luxury of shopping alone once again and nothing beats it!

That looks like such a cute cosy jacket! 🙂 I agree – the rare kid free time feels so special! I’m glad my boys are a little bigger now so I can explain to them I’d just like to browse for a few minutes – swinging by the toys or books on our way out after is why they really behave though, haha!
