Hello, Yellow Dresses!
We’ve had some scorchers lately here in Chicago! I keep thinking about how I was pregnant this time last year – yikes! I don’t know how I got through this kind of heat while 8 months pregnant.
To stay cool, I’ve been grabbing dresses, both maxi and mini. When I opened my closet to get dressed, I gravitated towards this beautiful yellow floral chiffon maxi dress that I wore on our baby moon in Hawaii last year! It is sold out now, but this one is very similar. I added a woven belt for a casual daytime look! That’s my trick for making a fancier dress feel more approachable for every day. I feel like everyone has a casual belt somewhere in their closet.
Here are some beautiful yellow dresses, all for under $50!

The Magnificent 8
The Magnificent 8 is back and this time we went with the theme Hello, Yellow! We did a garden theme in April, styled vintage and heirloom pieces in January, animal print in October, and white dresses in July, and now we’re back with another fun styling theme.
The Magnificent 8 is a collaboration among 8 stylish women, each in a different age bracket, ranging from early 20’s to early 80’s. The mission of this collaboration is to show you just how ageless style is, how we can each dress however we’d like and in ways that make us feel fabulous. There are no age restrictions on style. So wear what you want, when you want, add a smile, and strut your style with confidence. Be sure to check out all 7 of these amazing gals! And make sure you check back in July for our next collaboration!
