I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! We swam in the pool, indulged on poolside drinks and tacos, and had a date night downtown where I got to see my best friend from college! She was in town and, as always, we picked up right where we left off. Seeing old friends is so good for my soul.
Now I’m unwinding on the sofa watching the Real Housewives of Dubai with my glass of wine and reflecting on the weekend. When you’re a stay at home mom with young children, the weekend is sometimes more work than during the week! No school, no camp…just the regular early morning wake up and hours of fielding entertainment and snacks. Thankfully, Dan is always more available to help on the weekends. And I love doing fun things and spending time with my littles. But once bed time hits I just collapse! Who can relate?
Wide Leg Pants That Look Like A Skirt!
We were lucky enough to go out this weekend, and this is what I wore! We went to one of my favorite casual Italian restaurants in River North called Quartino. I wore these wide leg pants and they’re so comfortable! I love them so much! They’re wide legged and flowy and perfect. If you don’t have a pair you definitely need some. This square neck bodysuit is a new fave. It is thick and thin at the same time, making it so flattering. Just trust me.

You look so fabulous, my friend! Those pants are gorgeous and look really comfortable for these hot summer days. I know how being home with the littles can exhaust a person! Hang in there and enjoy all the moments! I will be spending this week driving 45 minutes back and forth to theater camp so I am sure I will be beat by the weekend…and then we are heading to Burlington, Vermont, for a family weekend trip! I always feel like I am the only one who gets tired in my family, too. Haha.
