Fancy Statement Pants
Spring and summer scream for breezy, light, and fun pieces, right?!
Since the theme of this month’s Magnificent 8 post is styling statement pants, I decided to head to Primark – one of my favorite new Chicago retailers to find a pair! The first time I ever went to Primark was when I was studying abroad in college and we did a weekend in London. We were popping in and out of all the fancy stores (Burberry, Liberty, etc.) and stumbled upon this affordable and trendy gem! FINALLY something college kids could afford! We were sad that it was only in the UK at the time.
Primark has started to branch out to US cities cities like Boston, New York, Miami, and finally one in Chicago! Primark reminds me of H&M and Forever21. Sadly, Primark doesn’t have an online shop. But if you want to get the look, this pair is really similar, and so this this pair from Amazon.
The Magnificent 8
The Magnificent 8 is back and this time we all decided to style statement pants for spring. We had an “outside the box” styling theme in January, pearls in October, a yellow theme in July, a garden theme last April, styled vintage and heirloom pieces last January, animal print last October, white dresses last July, and now we’re back with another fun styling theme.
The Magnificent 8 is a collaboration among 8 stylish women, each in a different age bracket, ranging from early 20’s to early 80’s. The mission of this collaboration is to show you just how ageless style is, how we can each dress however we’d like and in ways that make us feel fabulous. There are no age restrictions on style. So wear what you want, when you want, add a smile, and strut your style with confidence. Be sure to check out all 7 of these amazing gals! What a fabulous look Roxanne! I love how easy and breezy it is. We have been reaching high 80s in my neck of the woods so anything light is exactly what I need. I have heard of Primark before but never been to a store. I am glad they are branching out. I would love to see what they have in store!

It’s nice you have Primark too! We shopped there when we were in Edinburgh a couple years ago, everything was so affordable! Sadly not a lot really worked for me but I did find a super cute tee that is still lasting even though it was less than $5!

Roxanne, these pants are so pretty! I love the sage green. It is such a gorgeous color for spring! I have never shopped at Primark…probably because I have never seen an actual store! I have only read of this brand through blogger friends. This was a fun theme for April! Yay for fancy pants!
