Back From The Whirlwind!

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. We JUST arrived home from our 10 day driving tour, so I’ve been running around the apartment like a lunatic. Unpacking, making piles for laundry, and putting everything away. Is anyone else like that when they get home after an extended trip, or just me? I can’t just leave my suitcase waiting for another day. It drives me crazy.

Sidney was extra cranky after not sleeping much in the car, so we gave her a bath and just plopped her in the crib, 45 minutes before her usual bedtime. I’m watching the baby monitor now and munching on a delicious Sweet Green salad (guacamole greens is my favorite). That’s another thing I love to do when we get home from a trip – eat a salad! Traveling is fun but – good riddance – vegetables seem to be rare in my travel diet!

Neutral Rebel

This outfit is from a new online boutique called Neutral Rebel. The owner and brains behind the brand messaged me on Instagram one day asking if I would style a piece of her choosing – so of course I said yes! I like to support women-0wned businesses when I can. The boutique only carries pieces in neutral colors but they all have an interesting flair. That way, you can have a versatile wardrobe while still being trendy and chic.

I got this fun fringe sweater – a new favorite in my closet! And these button-front jeans are just my style. I’m currently eyeing this faux leather skirt.

Super cute outfit, Roxanne! I will have to check out this brand. I am the same way when I travel. I have to unpack everything immediately upon returning home and put it all away…before I do anything else! And why is eating healthy so difficult when traveling? Ugh. I am glad you had an amazing holiday!
