This weekend was so fun. I finally got to see Beauty and the Best and we walked down to the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms. I ate way too much crap, though.

I was so excited when Blush and Stone Boutique reached out and asked me to style some of their pieces. The founders are passionate about bringing global street style to mainstream American women. Since most of us don’t have the time to seek out every style that’s hitting the scene, Blush and Stone made it their personal goal to take the hard work onto their own shoulders. They do the research and hand select global street style clothing, all at a compelling price. Go see for yourself!

I chose this one shoulder gingham ruffle blouse to style. Since the top is just so amazing on its own, I wanted to let it shine. I paired it with my favorite distressed jeans from Old Navy to dress it down (last seen here), but elevated it just a bit with nude heels and a camel bag.

You can see from the photos how the shoulder ruffles cascade down the back. I love when a piece has details on the back as well as the front. The gingham print is interesting enough to give it dimension, but any other print would probably be too crazy.
