As most of you guys know, we are moving to Chicago later this month. We are in full pack mode right now, which is forcing me to go through my closet and edit HEAVILY.  I am letting go of a lot of things that I haven’t worn in a long time or that I don’t love.

Which leads me to the star of this post and the shop where this jumpsuit is from, Current Boutique. My jumpsuit is from Current Boutique, a DC-based consignment shop that also carries some new items in their “Current Collection”. They also carry this dress from this post! My red Furla bag is a FAB vintage find,  and the tassel earrings are from Current Boutique’s large selection of jewelry.

I’ve been shopping at Current Boutique since I moved to DC 2 years ago, but since we are moving I recently started bringing things to consign. I love that they take a wide variety of price points and designer items. I took some non-designer pieces in good condition to consign, too, but they carry everything from Free People to Gucci! Even though Current is based in DC and Northern VA, anyone can mail in items across the USA. They provide a free shipping label if you want to pack up some things for them to sell for you!

Current Boutique started with brick and mortar stores in the DC metro area. Now that they have been around for over 10 years, they recently decided to launch their website for a nationwide appeal! That makes me happy because now everyone can shop one of my favorite local stores.

Current Boutique’s website is easy to navigate to find the items you may be looking for. You can narrow it by size and designer, too. I knew that I wanted a cherry red bad to go with my navy jumpsuit, and it was easy to filter the options on their website for find this vintage beauty. The pictures are professional and clear, and the item descriptions are honest. I love that they only carry items in “Good to Excellent” condition, so you know you aren’t getting musty old crap.

Shopping consignment is my fave because you save money and boost your sustainability score. A basic black or navy jumpsuit is an essential piece that ABSOLUTELY survives the move! I found this one with cute cutouts on the side which can be easily hidden with a blazer or sweater for more formal occasions. It looks so polished and sleek! I reach for it ALL the time.

***

My favorite look from last week’s link up was Karen from Lady In Violet!

Simple and chic just gets me. I love a sleek and easy outfit like Karen’s camo top and gray jeans! Karen’s outfit is something I could easily see myself in.

You look gorgeous in this jumpsuit! I love the cut out pieces and long zipper detail on the back. Moving is such a great and hard thing at the same time. I’m in the middle of packing as well and on my 8th trash bag of things sent to the goodwill. I just don’t like packing things I don’t use anymore. Can’t wait to see what Chicago has for you!
