My budget has been pretty tight since we moved. Actually, my budget has always been that way, because…law school. But I am pretty frugal with my spending. I love fashion and following the trends, but I always try to find a less expensive version. And undoubtedly, an affordable option is always somewhere out there.
One of the reasons I created this blog is to share some of the current styles, but keep a realistic budget in mind. Plus, it is fun to look for bargains! Spending $700 on a pair of boots or $95 on a pom key chain is nice and all (I mean if you win the powerball) but to me the thrill is in the hunt! Almost everything in my neutral ensemble is under $40.
I’ve been lusting over these bag pom key chains. they are so darn cute, and you can clip them from bag to bag. Naturally, I was on the hunt for a pink one.
I walked into H&M and voila! There they were! I snatched up the pink one (which is also rose gold might I add) and now, my kitties think it is their new toy. The pom is not online yet, probably because it is new. If you don’t have time to run out to H&M, I linked some other cute affordable ones below.
I also found this neutral pom pom hat in a DC boutique called Lou Lou. I guess I just can’t get enough pom poms!
Outfit details: SheIn Cardigan, on sale for under $30, also comes in gray; Old Navy tee; Rebecca Minkoff bag; old leopard flats, similar here; Old Navy jeans; H&M necklace; My hat is from a DC boutique but this one is similar; H&M bag pom (too new to be online, but this one is cute and similar.)
The only splurge in my outfit is the Rebecca Minkoff bag, however Forever 21 has some pretty cute cross body bags right now. Check out this one and this one (both on sale for under $14!).
Have you seen pom poms around? They are so fun! Link your favorites in the comments!
