Woo! What a weekend! IT’S GONNA BE MAY! I had to say it. Well actually, it is May. Remember the Justin Timberlake meme on Facebook? I wonder if anyone still does that.
So I had my fourth microneedling treatment on Friday, but this time my skin looked great by Sunday so Dan and I were able to go out for a stroll (with lots of sunscreen of course).
We headed to brunch then walked down to the Constitution Gardens after. It is a little oasis with beautiful trees and a pond, closer to the WWII memorial.
The truth is, I was pretty hungover when I chose my outfit, so I decided to keep it as easy as possible, haha! I had some blogger friends over for champagne and appetizers on Saturday night, and let’s just say the champs was flowing.
My blush wrap dress is by a brand called Wild Blue Denim, and it’s only $25! They sell it at Rue21 – I used to shop there when I was in high school! If it is sold out, this one is really similar and cute. I just picked out these light pom pom earrings during the Baublebar flash sale, and they added just enough oomph to the outfit to make it look like my hungover self tried.
This white satchel is the perfect size to fit my sunglasses case (how cute are my pink one’s btw, and only $6.50), camera, bottle of water (necessary), and other essentials. I like small bags, but sometimes you need all your stuff. You saw it last here!
My favorite look from last week’s link-up is Rox-Anne from Celebrating This Life!
Do I love her outfit because we share the same name? Well, maybe. But in all seriousness I have always admired Rox-Anne’s effortlessly functional style and eye for classic pieces. Her pink trench has the most beautiful lining (you’ll have to visit her blog to see for yourself)! Don’t forget to visit Trend & Tidy to see Sarah’s pick of the week![inlinkz_linkup id=712765 mode=1]
