Real talk. I really dislike going to the nail salon to get a pedi, and they ask you if they can razor your feet to get all the calluses off. My answer is always – hell naw. I don’t even like when they use the cheese grater thing. It makes me feel weird. I have a friend who recently had a bad experience with that, and it left her hobbling and bleeding (don’t worry, she is okay!)
So when I discovered the Emjoi Micro-Pedi, a handy (and safe) callus-removing tool, let’s just say I was overjoyed to go to town on my feet.

My Love For Emjoi
Yes, I am a huge fan of Emjoi products. If you’re interested, check out my reviews of the Emjoi Micro-Nail tool and the blaheRase Epilator (that’s an SAT word for hair removal tool).
No More Pumice Stone
With dry feet, you just turn on the product and it does the work for you. No more cheese graters at the nail salon, and no more pumice stones in the shower. I traded in my callus rollers (that’s the little blue thing on the photo) for the Xtreme Coarse rollers, because I am intense and very serious about having soft feet.
As Satisfying as a Biore Nose Strip
I’m the type of person who likes to see my results instantly. I mean who doesn’t love a quick fix!? It’s like when you take off the Biore nose strip and you can see all the yucky blackheads you just removed. How satisfying!
The Emjoi Micro-Pedi has that same instant gratification effect. First, you can feel how soft your heels are, and second, you can see the callus junk (fairy dust? yuck) you just removed.
Do You Need the Mico-Pedi?
Kind of, yeah. Pedicures typically last about a month, but calluses will come back within a week. You can easily smooth everything out and keep your pedicure looking extra fresh and pretty, and your heels will look SO good in all your cute summer sandals. For only $30 too. I’m down for that.

I feel your pain! I am the same way when it comes to getting a pedicure! The cut my toe nails so short that I started to bleed. No fun!
Love this alternative!

I have one of these and I love it! I would much rather do it myself at home (safely!!) than at one of those nail salon places!! Plus, I’m a runner… so, I don’t need any little cuts or anything on my feet!

Whoa! I’m glad to hear your friend is okay. I’ve never had them use a cheese grater on my feet when I get a pedi, but that sounds terrible.

Oh I def need one of these!! I would go hardcore too, I’m all about some soft feet!I rarely get pedicures for the very same reasons, I’ve been cut before and it grossed me out, like am I going to go home with hepatitis now?! lol.

Omg you’ve been cut too!? So it is more common than I thought. That’s horrible. This tool is pretty much magical.

Looks like an amazing tool! I also am not a big fan of going for a pedi, I should try this.

It’s really quick, too. I don’t have time to sit there for too long.
