This week’s refreshment is the espadrille. I love them because they are fun and casual, but come in all shapes and sizes. Historically, an espadrille features a fabric upper part and a jute rope sole. The jute rope makes the sole particularly flexible. While the shoe is practical and has a long history, it is now a popular choice because it is comfortable and stylish.
If you’re thinking of getting a new pair of sandals for spring and summer, look no further. Espadrilles are definitely the way to go, especially because you can find them in so many fun styles and colors. And because breaking the bank is no fun, these are all under $90!
