Styling Magenta

For our quarterly blogger collaboration, we decided to style the color magenta! I’ve been loving this color trend (its the Pantone color of 2023) and am here for a vivid hue! I think last year’s color was a periwinkle blue.

I went shopping in my closet and found this gorgeous magenta sweater. Mine is from a boutique in our old Lincoln Park neighborhood, but this one is similar! I amped it up with this fuchsia lipstick. My fave and only 7 dollars! A nice way to brighten up an otherwise gloomy Chicago day.

While we were out shopping and snapping these photos, we popped into Kendra Scott and I tried on a few necklaces for my birthday. I’ll be turning 35 on January 30th, and somehow it feels like a milestone. I got the Ace necklace and beautiful delicate Haven necklace! The Magnificent 8

This group is probably the only things motivating me to post on my blog right now! If you go back to the home page, you’ll see the last time I posted was for our western boot styling collab. OOPS!

We were inspired by ads last summer, did statement pants for spring, an “outside the box” styling theme last January, pearls, a yellow theme last July, a garden theme, styled vintage and heirloom pieces, and now we’re back with another fun styling theme. I think they’re all so fun and bring out our creativity.

The Magnificent 8 is a collaboration among 8 stylish women, each in a different age bracket, ranging from early 20’s to early 80’s. The mission of this collaboration is to show you just how ageless style is, how we can each dress however we’d like and in ways that make us feel fabulous. There are no age restrictions on style. So wear what you want, when you want, add a smile, and strut your style with confidence. Be sure to check out all 7 of these amazing gals!
