Happy Birthday – 35!

This is 35! Do I have any wisdom to share? I wish I did and perhaps that’s for another post. Looking back on this past year of life, I find that it was a whirlwind. With a toddler, a new baby, and a new home, the year truly flew by me.

I found that I didn’t take care of myself as much as I should have this past year. I put myself on the back burner while prioritizing my kids. Anyone in my position would have. I posted on Glass of Glam less than I ever have since the beginning of this blog, and I’m not proud of that. I spent most of the year in leggings and a messy bun, covered in spit up. I turned down a ton of event invites, and didn’t demand much from myself other than being the best mom I could. I made a new years resolution to try and feel more put together every day, and that has helped me a lot!

A New Year For Me

Despite my realization, this year really was special. Watching Sidney and Rosie grow and learn while establishing their sisterly bond has been the best part of the year. Dan and I also got to take a trip to Budapest in December, where we took these pictures! It was a dream. The city looks like Paris and has the most amazing café culture.

I wore this stunner of a dress to a really fancy dinner in Budapest. The mirror selfie photo shows the tie front detail the best. The scrunch style is so flattering! I saw these firework earrings at Anthropologie and had to have them. They add a whimsical and colorful element to a black outfit! The earrings come in a bunch of different color ways but the rainbow is my favorite.

Who is excited for some more Glass of Glam this year!? I’ve made a commitment to keep posting and can’t wait to share more about our trip!
