How was everyone’s weekend!? Dan’s glorious paternity leave ended this week. He went back to work on Tuesday as soon as we got home from Nashville. And I’m proud to say I survived my first week myself with Sidney! It was a lot of fun, but definitely a challenge. This weekend the three of us spent every moment together and it felt like the good old days. But now we are back to reality and I’m excited to share five Fall boot trends with you today!
Five Fall Boot Trends To Look Out For
I have a boot obsession. When fall rolls around, I bring all my boots down from the top shelves and dust them off with glee. A boot is an easy way to fall-ify an outfit as you squeeze out that last bit of wear from your summer wardrobe. And I’m also secretly happy that I don’t have to keep up with those monthly pedicures that sandals require.
Here are five of my favorite fall boot trends, with some examples on how to style them!
Tall Boots
I love a tall boot to keep my legs warm! A luscious suede boot in a neutral print is my current go-to. Over the knee boots are still in style this fall, too!

Animal Print
Bring on the leopard, croc and snakeskin print booties. They count as a neutral!
Soft And Cozy
Boots with cozy shearling or fuzzies peeking out are cute and warm for fall. I like to wear them out and about – not just in the house!
Everyday Ankle Booties
We all need a pair (or two) of every day ankle boots to go with our work slacks, jeans, and fall dresses.
Combat Boots
Combat boots, or lace up styles, are a fun way to add spunk to an outfit. For example: a dress with heels is sweet, but a dress with combat boots is sassy! From what I’ve seen from Fashion Week and on Instagram, this trend is here to stay.

Such great fun fall outfits! My favorites are lace up booties but I’ve also seen some vintage inspired boots this year that I thought looked like fun! Not sure if those are trending, as I’ve only seen them by one company and they are expensive.

I love boots and I am so happy that boot season is here! Oh that transition to the hubby going back to work and leaving you alone with baby can be a hard one, but you’ve got this! Just remember…never be afraid to ask for help if you start feeling overwhelmed!
