While fall not yet arrived in DC, I’m already thinking about the cozy sweaters I’m going to live in come fall. Here’s a fun little collage of all the sweater styles I’ve been loving. Make sure you get your hands on some of these before they go out of stock! They always do.
RUST KNIT CARDIGAN | FRONT LACE-UP SWEATER | OVERSIZED CABLE KNIT SWEATER | FRINGE CARDIGAN | CHOKER NECK SWEATER | RUFFLE SLEEVED SWEATER | FAUX FUR TRIM CARDIGAN | BASIC BLACK DUSTER | PINK FUZZY DUSTER | OPEN SHOULDER LACE UP SWEATER | BLUE SWEATER WITH LACE UP DETAILS
As you can see, the lace-up sweater trend is back! I like that the lace-up detail adds a unique touch. I just ordered this front tie sweater from Zaful (they have a ton of cute and affordable cotton sweaters) and I have this one in my closet.
You’ll also be seeing duster cardigans that go from knee length to almost floor length. This basic one is an absolute closet staple at only $27. I really like this pink fuzzy duster too, although it is a big of a splurge!
And don’t forget about fun embellishments. Faux fur and fringe will also be hot, so if you see anything like that make sure you snatch up that sweater!
Here’s how I styled some of my favorite sweaters this past year. It just goes to show you that sweaters aren’t just meant to be paired with jeans. Let your imagination run wild.
Try pairing your sweater with a mini for a fun transitional look.
I love this cozy tunic sweater, and not just for the color! A lot of you agreed, as it was one of my best selling pieces via affiliate links last year. This one is similar and just $19.
This particular sweater has shoulder cutouts, and a fun frayed hem that’s just so edgy and cool. Only $22, might I add.
A long cardigan with a belt is one of my signature looks. It gives you some shape and allows you to add more color and texture to your outfit.
Ah the choker sweater. I was blown away by the unique color and softness. It is under $23 and also comes in a berry color, mustard yellow, black, and green.
The arm ruffles may seem a bit medieval, but I think they are fab. Just don’t attempt to eat chips and salsa with bell sleeves like these.
Hope you have a great weekend! Don’t forget to sign up for the weekly refreshment. It is my newsletter that goes out every Friday. Along with a weekly recap, I include some photos from my camera roll that don’t make it onto the blog or Instagram!

I love that one too! It is so comfortable.
I love sweater weather. Gosh I am crushing on that white sweater, even though I would be likely to spill all over it. Hahahaha. Also you have me inspired to take out my suede skirt. Love the rich color of yours.
I will probably get something on it immediately. Thank goodness it isn’t $100 hahahaha.
wow wow What a great sweaters! Have a great weekend!
