Friday Fizz: Sassy Under $50

Don’t let the post-holiday blues get you down. Every day is a reason to wake up and look your best, even if you work from home sometimes (like I do). And the best part is that you can look fabulous on the cheap – all of these items are under $50!

So here’s the truth. I wanted to do this post before New Year’s Eve, but the program I use to make collages kept crashing.  So I had to teach myself how to use a NEW collage software to bring you this lovely bunch of sassy steals under $50. (See my last collage on Boho fashion here and the cutest sweaters here).

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to look polished every day. I know that’s not totally realistic, but it is important to have goals, right!? Looking my best and feeling my best go hand in hand. When I take the time to look put together, I feel more productive, confident, and I actually get more done.

First of all, the tuxedo dress. I want one so badly. My friend Dani had one custom made and it looked so good on her that I had to find a similar one. The style screams instant polish and glam. This one is only $35 from Boohoo. I would wear it with a belt.

Do any of you watch Riverdale? I just finished season one and I am obsessed with Cheryl Blossom. I found this little spider brooch for under $5 so I can pretend to be just like her.

I just picked up this Smashbox liquid lipstick in Spoiler Alert and it is absolutely stunning. If you’re wearing your go-to jeans and a cardigan, a swipe of this lip color will certainly kick it up a notch.

A new accessory can really refresh your basic duds. I’m always wear my black cigarette pants and a basic button down, so a fun faux fur clutch (which would go with anything!), or some gorgeous brocade heels (on sale for $20!) are the perfect addition to go from work to evening or week to weekend.
