Soft and Cozy Choker Sweater

I am SO checked out this week. And on top of that this post just completely erased so I am re-writing it. Hopefully it will be even better this time.

The good news is I am going on a cruise on Sunday!

We leave from Fort Lauderdale and the cruise is 4 days. The boat is called the Celebrity Silhouette if anyone has been on it before! I already picked up my motion sickness patches from the pharmacy so I should be ready to go!

This is only my second cruise ever! We decided not to buy the drink package. I calculated that I would have to have 5 drinks a day for it to be worth it. I love beverages (obviously) but I don’t want to feel obligated to have 5 drinks just to get my money’s worth. Ya know what I’m sayin’?!

Since it is still too early to pack I have been planning my outfits and gathering reading materials (both kindle and hardcopy!) My friend Sarah lent me The Heart Goes Last so I will definitely be bringing that along. She said it is dark and creepy but I love those kind of books. I am simply disgusting.

So until the cruise I’m braving this freezing weather in cozy sweaters. Like the one I’m wearing today with the choker detail that we all love. Did you notice the zippers on the sleeves!? Such a cute detail. I’ve also been wearing this classic cable knit one on repeat. And this soft off the shoulder one. I added a pom pom hat to this look because they are fun! And you can’t take yourself too seriously when you are wearing one.

I think the maker of this outfit are the OTK boots. They are SO comfortable because of the block heel, and I love the soft brown color. Even though they are a bit pricey, they are real, soft suede and are bound to last forever.

If you are already at home with your family then don’t forget to tell them how much you love them. I really like spontaneous “I love you’s”. My mother-in-law does it all the time and I like it.
