What’s In My Dagne Dover Makeup Pouch

I haven’t done a beauty post in awhile, so I thought it would be fun to talk about some of my absolute favorite makeup products right now.

Woah! Yeah the large Dagne Dover Lola pouch is no joke. While it might look small, I fit a LOT of make up products in here – 24 items to be exact:

Two full eyeshadow palettes, two smaller face palettes, four make up brushes, primer and CC cream, mascara, mascara primer, two eyeliners, a lash curler, two lipsticks, two lip tints, lip gloss, concealer, highlighter, lip balm, and blush.

It might seem silly to get excited about a makeup bag, but I feel like I’m always trying to cram things into my old one. When I traveled, I couldn’t bring any eyeshadow palettes with me, and had to edit down a little more than my liking.

I chose this beautiful Jasmine color, because it reminds me of my smaller make up bag that Dan got me as a gift. Now, all my makeup bags match beautifully.

Dagne Dover is known for bags that will fit a lot of things, and as such they are ideal for travel. They have so many gorgeous leather pieces, and I especially love their new Marakkech collection.

The pouch has a smooth inside, which makes it easy to clean. And there are pockets on the side for storing things that usually get lost, like eyeliners that have been sharpened to the nubbin, tweezers, hair pins, and lipsticks.

Here are the holy grail items that I fit into my new spacious makeup bag:

PALETTES

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette – all the colors are rosy and perfect for my skin tone.

Lorac Pro Eyeshdow Palette – the most pigmented eyeshadow palette there is!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – has blush, bronzer, highlight, and a powder that will make your skin “glow.” I use this palette every day.

BRUSHES

Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush – life changing. It makes your make up look so flawless.

MAC 217 Blending Brush – an eyeshadow brush with a flat side, which is double duty for putting on color and blending.

MAC 109 Contour Brush – absolutely worth the splurge.

Bare Minerals Flawless Application Brush – I use this to apply and blend my  blush and bronzer.

FACE PRODUCTS + CONCEALER

Lune + Aster CC Cream – my favorite! It is light, contains SPF, and kind of smells sweet!

Lune + Aster Face Primer – assures a flawless base.

RMS Beauty Concealer – creamy and blendable. I dab this under my eyes and on any redness around my face.

RMS Beauty Highlight – the most gorgeous luminzer! I use this to highlight my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, forehead, and corners of my eyes.

Benefit Rockateur Blush – The only blush that will stay on me all day long.

LIP PRODUCTS

Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave – my perfect orange-y red (see me wearing it here, here, and here).

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Petal – I wore this gloss for my wedding!

Clinique Lipstick in Watermelon – the perfect pink for summer. My full review is here.

RMS Beauty Lip Shine – makes it look like you just ate a popsicle! My favorite shade is Sacred. See it on me here.

RMS Beauty Lip + Cheek Color – adds enough tint to make it look like you gave a shit. My favorite color is “Illusive”. I wore it in this post.

Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm – hydrates amazingly well, but has so many uses! I use it on dry patches on my face, too.

EYELINER

Stila Liquid Eyeliner – it has a felt tip for easy application.

Urban Decay Eyeliner in Smog – a great every day color that says on all day and doesn’t smudge.

MASCARA + EYELASH CURLER

Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara – two coats of this mascara make me look alert!

Tarte Eyelash Primer – for days when I want extremely huge lashes, I’ll layer this on my lashes first.

Shu Uemera Eyelash Curler – only the best there is.

Woo! Well it sure takes a lot to get this girl lookin’ good! I really just like makeup, though! Do we have any of the same favorites?
