Red Off the Shoulder Dress

I love that off the shoulder tops and dresses are in style now because they are so flattering on everyone. It is truly rare that someone hates their shoulders, no matter what your age or body type. Any universally flattering trend is ay-okay in my book! I just ADORE the color red, all year long!

Mexico was so unbelievably humid. So just ignore the frizzy hair and glistening skin, haaa. Airy and light pieces like this red dress were perfect when the heat would not break, even in the evenings. We got a hot breeze, but that’s basically the best the weather could do for us.

I wore this dress to a sushi cocktail hour at the resort. I kept getting random compliments from strangers. The husband says I need Glass of Glam business cards, because he is so sick of random strangers asking me where I got my dress, shoes, bag, etc. and I do absolutely nothing about it. He is probably right, as he is usually right about most things. Except our cats’ names (he thinks they should have been Salt and Pepper, but I like Jake and Elwood just fine, haha.)

I ordered this red dress specifically for this vacation because I thought it looked festive. The reviews said the fabric was thinner than they had hoped, but still a lovely dress. I went for a size small, and it is perfect! I don’t think it is too thin at all! I steamed the crap out of it (see this post about shopping at SheIn) and the quality is great! It is now my favorite red dress. Up close you can see the little detailing on the top; that’s my favorite part.
