Sweet Like a Chica Cherry Cola: A Lightweight Trench & A Vampy Lip

It is Wednesday night as I’m writing this (hello last minute people) and I just spent all day fasting and packing. We are moving on Sunday, which I’m so excited about! But the packing…not so much.

Since I didn’t eat all day I basically packed in a zombie stupor. Luckily I labeled the boxes when I felt compelled to.

We broke the fast at a burger place at 6:30 pm. I insisted on both sweet potato fries and regular fries, smothered in guac and other amazingness. Luckily we had them bring those first because I was frantically hungry.

Fasting is tough for me. I love to eat a nice balanced breakfast in the morning and drink my coffee at my leisure. It brings me joy. Not being able to do that for one day is pretty humbling. I still kind of feel like my brain is rattling in my head from a lack of steady food intake, so I’ll keep this post short and sweet!

I recently received this pretty lightweight trench from Zaful. Before getting the trench, I had never ordered clothing from Zaful, only bathing suits. As with most online orders, I had to steam the crapola out of it, but the wrinkles came out so easily. I decided to be bold and pair it with my favorite white denim and a blush tank, which all count as neutrals for me. I topped it off with a vampy fall lip. A dark lip is so fun to do with a simple outfit, in my opinion.

Finally, I just scored this gorgeous statement necklace from Francesca’s. It has a bunch of colors in it, so you can wear it with so many outfits. I looooove it.
