Friday Fizz: Nine Nail Polish Colors to Try This Fall

One of the things I always look forward to in the fall is the nail polish colors. Sometime mid September I started texting my friends like “is it too soon for dark polish!?” because I can’t wait for my dark fall hues. Don’t get me wrong, I love my summer lilacs and brights, but the earthy polish colors are my favorite.

I currently have OPI’s CIA=Color Is Awesome on my nails. I went to the salon and asked for a “blueish gray” and the lady whipped out two colors, but immediately said “you like this one, yes? Is new color!” I recognized it from the OPI DC collection, which DC mega Blogger Meg Biram helped to advertise! The ladies at my salon don’t speak great English, but they know their color.

I also love the soft pinky lilac of JINsoon Moxie – it just screams cozy sweaters and blanket scarves. And you can never go wrong with a burgundy polish for fall, like this Smith & Cult rich dark red. I love how a dark nail looks with an all white ensemble, kind of like a vampy lip from this neutral and easy outfit. The chocolate brown of this lovely Dior polish in Skyline is so unexpected and cool. I’m dying to try it next.
