Moving is always way crazier than I think it is going to be. Reserving elevators, having boxes for random things, sequestering cats so they don’t run out the door. There are a lot of things to think about.
So I took the week off to pack, move and unpack. We rented these great reusable boxes from lend a box – they have been SO flexible and accommodating. Basically, you rent however many boxes you think you need. They have all sizes, including wardrobe boxes (can you guess how many I got!?).
The reusable boxes are environmentally friendly AND it saves you from having to break down boxes and take them to the dumpster. You just stack them up and they pick them up for you when your rental is over. I’m thrilled about it.
The boxes are so sturdy, too. I only broke one margarita glass in this entire process. Chalk that up as a huge win.

I’ll be moving the end of November and I always get SO stressed! Love seeing your moving snaps and stories.. and I didn’t know you could rent boxes like that! I’ll have to look into it.

Oh cool, I love the box rental idea – throwing out a bunch of cardboard boxes is wasteful and time-consuming, but this looks really convenient!
