Feathered felted fedora fun, now that’s a tongue twister!

Do you ever see something and you have to have it? You don’t even think or ruminate about it. There is no putting it in your cart and coming back later. Just instant wham bam checkout let it be mine. That’s how I felt when I saw this hat.

The feather band on this hat is so unique. It is on sale for $10.99! Too amazing. It is a little bit too big on me, so I am thinking of doctoring it with some elastic. Any advice?

I mixed my outfit with different shades of brown and tan. A neutral turtleneck is a closet essential. My Gap turtleneck is sold out in this , but I found a similar one for $10 here and a slouchy version here.  A colorful ombre scarf and a bright lip tie it all together. I adore Nars lipstick in heat wave. If I don’t have time to put on a full face of make up, I swipe on this lipstick and hide behind some sunglasses. Now that’s some glamprovisation.
