Thomasville Furniture for Your Living Room
We’ve been in our new home for a few months now, and we finally got some new Thomasville furniture and other furnishings for our living room! The truth is, our main hang out is the family room, and the other half of this living room is Sidney’s play area. We didn’t need much to round out this room. All I wanted were some coastal-feel pillows for the sofa to add a pop of color, and some classic seating so we can sit and watch Sidney play.
We had this Ikea sleeper sofa in storage for the past 3 years, and I was excited to finally dust it off for our new place! We used to use it as a sofa bed for guests when they visited us at our tiny apartment in the city. It is still so beautiful and comfortable as a sofa! If you’re in need of a sleeper sofa, I highly recommend it because you can take off the covers and wash them, and it’s super affordable. We also already had this big rug. I’m not sure if it goes in this room, but I am leaving it for now!
Thomasville graciously let us pick which pillows we liked from their new collection with Sewing Down South to help complete our living room. I immediately gravitated towards this navy grid pillow. Then picked other blue ones: this amazing coral pillow, blue arrow pillow, and modern polka dots. They’re all so unique on their own, yet they work together so well! Thomasville’s nouveau furniture collection at Macy’s is classically beautiful, and it took me 3 seconds to decide on this comfy gray chair. The fabric is so soft, and I love the wood legs.
While we still have probably years until we finish furnishing our entire home, it feels really good to start getting some nice cozy furnishings that we truly love.
