A Floral & Lace SugarLips Dress

The weekend was draining. I wanted to go to both the inauguration parade AND the Women’s March, and so I did. I was already sick, and it made me sicker, but it was totally worth it.

But let’s talk about something light and happy for now, like this dress!

I’m going to post about why I went to BOTH the inauguration and the women’s march later this week. But for today, while I recuperate and re-sort my brain, here’s a lovely outfit post!

This is the DRESS OF DREAMS! I picked it out from an online boutique called Sugar Lips. The prices are stellar, too! Since it was freeezing when we shot these pics, I wore my favorite Express tights (pro tip, order a size up) with a cute little flecked design, and leopard heels.

I was literally skating on a sheet of ice, but we really wanted to get outside and shoot as the sun was low and golden.

I also discovered a new jewelry brand that I’m SO excited about called Midori Linea. When I first saw it, I thought to myself “I have had dreams that I have seen these pieces, but I’ve never been able to find them in a store!” I picked out the “Kara Y Necklace” and I”ve been wearing it nonstop.

The jewelry is easy to layer, which I love. I’ve been lucky enough to meet the owner and creator, who is a just the nicest person ever! If you’re interested in any of the pieces, I’d love to chat about it. Email me (glassofglam@gmail.com) or drop a comment and I’ll help you choose something that’s perfect!

Of course I’m picking out the silliest tiny detail, but: I’m curious where you got your OJ! Did you make it with a juicer? Or did you buy it fresh-squeezed somewhere? I don’t buy OJ from the store since it’s all pasteurized and shenaniganized but I love fresh-squeezed juice. I feel like I have to get a juicer someday once I have space!
