I wore this pretty rose striped organza dress to my friend’s wedding in Grand Rapids last weekend. It monsooned, so I didn’t get a chance to snap outfit photos at the actual time of the event. Since I received so many compliments on the dress last weekend I put it back on to share with you.

But of course It started to rain when we went to shoot! Maybe the dress is a rain magnet? I am just superstitious like that.
I was originally going to wear a lacy blue dress that I posted on instagram (everyone was texing me like, I want to see you in the blue dress – where is it!?) except I forgot to bring a slip, and…it really needed one. So this rose stripey dress was actually my back up!
If you are going to a wedding, don’t be like me and forget the proper undergarments for your dress. The first thing you put in your bag should be the correct bra, slip, pins, whatever. I was also extremely lucky that the shoes are an exact match. But it could have been a hilarious disaster.
