The Perfect Date Night Dress

Ever since Rosie started sleeping through the night we’ve been treating ourselves to the occasional date night. As a stay at home mom of two I relish any opportunity I get to dressed up and look fancy. My day to day look is usually activewear with a side of spit up or dirt or sticky handprints. I love it so much, but sometimes I want to get dolled up!

I purchased this green dress for our yearly family photos! But I couldn’t wait until then to wear this perfect date night dress. We went to the new Bar Mar downtown, which is a José Andres restaurant specializing in Spanish seafood. Of course we saw another woman wearing the same dress who was leaving the restaurant as we arrived!

Now that I took it for a spin, I know this dress will be perfect for our family photos too. This year’s photos will be extra special because we added little Rosie to our family. We don’t have many photos of all four of us, so I can’t wait to frame them and put them all over the house! I’m wearing a small petite, and the length is perfect on my 5’1″ self.
