How was everyone’s weekend? I just got home from a pool party at my friend’s apartment. The weather was yucky all weekend in Chicago, but we still hung out, drank some froze, munched on delicious bites, and dipped in the pool. The plus side of crappy weather is that we had the pool to ourselves!
We played a fun new-to-me game called Utter Nonsense, where you have to say phrases in different accents. We were laughing so hard the whole time! I swear – sometimes a really good almost-pee-yourself laugh is like food for the soul. I’m thankful that in such a short while I already found girlfriends in Chicago who I can relax with and feel totally like myself.
The Green Jumpsuit You Need
First of all, the pant length on this jumpsuit fit perfectly in the store. That never ever happens for short girls like me. Luckily, Ann Taylor’s petite selection happens to be the perfect size on a shorty like me!
Second, I didn’t have anything this color green in my closet. Every woman should have a classic jumpsuit (see how I style this gorgeous blue one last summer) but there are no rules when it comes to color. A dark green is polished and sophisticated with a bit of flair.
