Fun fact: I finally got myself some black joggers. I have a printed pair from Anthropologie (last seen here), which I love, so I was excited to add these to my collection. Which now has 2 pairs of joggers. It is like wearing pajamas to work but you coincidentally look chic.

To go with the joggers, I picked out this cute kitty backpack. Whenever I tell someone it is a kitty backpack they are like…wut? But it is subtle in the gold hardware. I like it that way. These suede chokers are really in right now. They bring me back to middle school! I bought mine from Forever 21 for $4.
So let me tell you a real life story. Labor day weekend we had guests and it was SO fun. We went to some of the best restaurants in the city. While we split up to do our own thing on Saturday, I went to Nordstrom to exchange these jeans I got in the Nordstrom sale. Since committing myself to being grain-free in May I’ve been losing some weight. I haven’t gotten on a scale or anything – I just go by how my clothes feel.
I get to the metro and it is stopped for 30 minutes for whatever stupid reason this time. So I Uber to Pentagon City, get to Nordstrom, and pull out the jeans to exchange. They were the wrong jeans. I felt really dumb. So I just walked around Nordstrom and admired all the pretty new fall clothing and went home and told all my friends. They were horrified, haha!
The story has a happy ending because I went back today and brought the right pair. And they had the right size in stock! Happy happy happy. But also #firstworldproblems haha.

I scatterbrainedly lost the tickets for the trainride out of NYC and had to sweet-talk the ticket guy into letting me use the receipt instead.
