It’s a super weird time right now. Along with the Cover-19 pandemic, it seems as if our neighborhoods are going up in flames in response to the death of George Floyd. I’m watching the news (local and national) and cities, Chicago included, are filled with unrest. I have some thoughts about it all, but I’m just too overwhelmed to articulate them now. Believe me when I say I see everything, and I’m listening. I support #blacklivesmatter and I hope everyone can stay safe. I truly hope change happens.
On a happier note, I recently discovered 1822’s butter denim jeans. They are SO soft – they feel just like leggings. They’re a nice change from my usual leggings and a tee uniform that I’ve come to love during the stay at home order.
I ordered a Butter Box, which contains three of the brand’s best-selling soft jeans at a discount. If you haven’t tried them, you gotta! Take the quick Find My Fit Test (it’s best to take it on your phone so you can easily take the required photos) and then order the recommended size. The fit test was spot on for me, and I chose the high rise style. I particularly love 1822 Denim because they also carry plus and maternity sizes. AND they’re super affordable. The price for the quality can’t be beat.
The non-butter denim are also really comfortable! I really love this pair that I styled back in February!
