Guys, I didn’t write ANY blog posts last week. Ah! Did you miss me? My mom decided to come visit at the last minute, and I got too caught up doing other life things. Taxes, housework, accounting, mothering…that kind of stuff. Sometimes it is okay to take a break, right? I can’t remember the last time I missed a Monday post – I even posted the Monday after Sidney was born!
Tie Dye Trend Queen
Today’s post is an ode to tie dye trend pieces like my new favorite sweatshirt. This tie dye sweatshirt is one of those pieces that you get and wear every single day for a week straight. I think Dan was starting to look at me funny like – “didn’t you wear that recently?” It is soft, goes with everything, and the semi-cropped style keeps it fresh instead of frumpy. I’m a huge fan.
I’m super into the tie dye trend lately, and I think this sweatshirt is a great way to ease into the trend if you haven’t already. Then you can graduate to styles like this, this and this! I also have this top and it reminds me of cotton candy 🙂
I can’t forget to mention my jeans! Since having Sidney my hips are wider, which makes perfect sense biologically. But that meant I got to explore some new jean brands. This pair is by 1822 denim and feel like actual butter. Even though they feel like $150 jeans, they’re only $45 a pair. They come in maternity and plus, too!

Roxanne, I love this sweatshirt! I am planning on adding a few new tie dye pieces to my wardrobe this summer once festival season begins. I like to purchase from the vendors at the festivals to support their creative businesses. I took last week off from blogging as well because I was road tripping. Sometimes, you just have to!
