Black Coffee: A Petite Shirt Dress

in Fall outfits, Style on 12/01/16

Happy December! I can’t. Even. Believe it!

So the weirdest thing happened to me while I was walking back to the office from lunch the other day.

Black Old Navy Dress

So I was hurrying back to the office after lunch, and some guy yells at me “slow down!” I probably looked at him incredulously, like ummm do you even know where I’m going? Why do I need to slow down? It’s kind of amazing what people feel like they can say to me on the street.

Then my spirits were lifted when I heard two guys crossing the street and having a silly conversation…”Oh it’s Au Bawn pain…a boon paan? So fancy! And look at THIS fancy girl!“

I love when people try to pronounce Au Bon Pain (I think its pronounced awe bawn pain, right? I only have 1 semester of French.)

As for the outfit – I just die over Old  Navy dresses. If you have short arms like me, then petites is the way to go. Find yourself always rolling up your sleeves? Yep, I’m talking to you! Old Navy dresses are so comfortable and cute. Remember this cute little blue one? I also have my eye on this one and this one.

Aaanyways. Has anyone said anything weird on the street to you? What silly things have you overheard? I’m thinking of writing a whole blog post on this subject.

You look amazing! We had Au Bon Pain at my University and I never knew how to pronounce it, I should have asked the workers there haha.

lol. funny story! Cute outfit, you do look like a fancy girl! I took French and I always thought the pronunciation was obvious – but many people think it’s not!

The things people say and do to strangers is just crazy! And um those guys are hilarious haha!! Old Navy has been killing it lately – love this outfit and you’re right, it’d be perfect with tights too!
