Welcome back from the long weekend of family and friends and general happiness! Now that we’re back into a full week of work (womp) it’s perfect timing for a Happiness Collaboration with my fellow blogger babes Rachel and Jessica!

When Rachel originally polled me about what makes me happy, I said “[w]hen I take some time to do my hair, put on some make up, and wear a fab outfit then I feel much more confident and put together.”
But to go a little deeper, my style happiness doesn’t necessarily come from what I’m wearing, but how I am feeling. Oftentimes people who meet me for the first time, and sometimes even my own friends and family, can’t believe that I measure in at the short stature of 5’1″. My advice is always to think tall and portray yourself as tall! And by tall I mean confident, powerful, and loving yourself.
There’s no impressive segue way into this…but I find that a long coat makes me feel amazing. I can just float along in a structured, fun, and cinched coat. Add some heels and a great hairdo (here’s how I get mine) and I swear I feel like a bazillion bucks.
What makes you feel happy and confident? Let me know in the comments!
p.s. – See how I last styled this coat with an insanely cool hat and scarf.
