The #ArtOfFun, Whimsy, and Luxe & On Mondays We Link-Up(#12)

Last week was really hard. My grandfather passed away, and so I was in Cleveland with family. But keeping my posting schedule has given me the sense of routine and normalcy that I needed.

I think it’s the perfect timing to post these bright happy photos, because my grandfather was a silly and charming guy. And also because a little fashion whimsy is an instant cheerer-upper for me!

An outfit can really change my mood. Even if you’re feeling somber and wearing all black, a pop of fun in a shoe is like your little silly secret.

This outfit features my new gold Donald J. Pliner shoes. I love the woven gold straps because they go with everything, and add a little shimmer to this already-beautiful embroidered dress.

Before I picked out my shoes, I was looking at the Donald J. Pliner Spring 2017 lookbook. Some of the photos are so funny and whimsical! If you’re feeling blah (because it is Monday) then you need to take a look because it is truly amusing.

I also picked out these pretty cork block heeled sandals. I can’t wait to style them! They look so comfy and cute.

Thank you to Donald J. Pliner for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

Thank you for supporting the brands that support GlassofGlam.

Welcome to On Mondays We Link-Up! This week, my favorite look was from Brooke of Pumps & Pushups!

This week’s favorite has a special place is my heart, because Brooke and I became fast blogger friends due to our extremely similar styles and mini size. And because she is so sweet and awesome. I basically love everything she wears, and this beautiful blue lace dress is no exception. I always joke that I wish we could share a virtual closet.
