Yahooo FRIDAY! This week felt really long. Maybe because of the cold. We are supposed to get hit with a big blizzard in DC around noon today. I hope that wherever you are, you are safe and warm! I heard that Trader Joe’s got slammed yesterday and the line at Whole Foods was ridiculous. It’s like the apocalypse is coming.
So my birthday is coming up next weekend. I’ve had pretty dresses on the brain. A lot of people have asked me about this Chi Chi London party dress that I wore to our rehearsal dinner this summer, so I thought I’d dedicate a post. After all, it is one of my absolute favorite pieces. Maybe you guys can help me pick a birthday dress.
I bought this beautiful Chi Chi London dress on Asos.com for our rehearsal dinner. I love it because it is fun and different. The floral print is unique and I love the big blue flowers on the light pink.

The midi length is so flattering, and shows off whatever shoes you decide to pair with it. Sadly, this particular dress is sold out. But Chi Chi London never disappoints.
Ever since I bought this dress I have been looking for an excuse to get another. With my birthday coming up, I might just have a valid excuse. I love wearing beautiful dresses because they do not need much fussing with accessories. They are a piece of art in themselves.
Most of the Chi Chi London dresses are under $100, and Asos always has really great sales. Just be careful with the sizing. For reference, I am typically a US size 4, but I ordered a UK size 8. You can shop for Chi Chi London dresses on Asos, Dorothy Perkins, or ModCloth. They have petites and plus sizes, too, which is pretty amazing.
Although it was so difficult to narrow it down – here are my four birthday/life picks right now:
1. Midi Prom Dress (sold out). The dark blue is a gorgeous contrast to the pretty flower clusters on the dress. I also love the sleeves! It is so ladylike.
2. High Low Dress. I love the high low detail on the hem. This one is on sale for under $60 and also comes in blue. Currently drooling over this dramatic high low floral dress. And currently on sale for under $70
3. Pink Metallic Lace. PINK! Magenta complements all skin tones. The lacy hem is perfection and the capped sleeves are super flattering.
4. Plunge Neck Sateen. The abstract print on this dress is so unique. Also, the bardot sleeves are like my pink and blue dress. Just simply beautiful.
Some honorable mentions are this lovely button-front, this black cut-out dress, and this one looks like candy.
Help! Which one should I get!? Do you love this brand as much as I do?

Definitely! If you do, make sure you order it a few weeks ahead because some of my friends have experienced slow shipping from ASOS.

Love the first one. I have a wedding this spring to attend and it might be perfect for it!

Wow. That’s a tough one. They would all look pretty on you! I’m leaning toward the magenta tho.
