New White Sneakers!
One of my favorite summer trends is a bright white sneaker. Nothing feels more summery than putting those crisp whites back into rotation! Now that the yucky puddles are almost gone, it’s nearly safe to bring out the white sneaks! I love how a clean, classic sneaker really pops against an outfit, plus a classic pair of white sneakers is perfect for any occasion – from jeans and a tee to a sundress and straw hat. Their versatility is KEY since I have limited space in the city, so having a pair is a no-brainer for me!
Dress Yours Down
I wore my favorite Converse high tops for a walk on the Chicago Riverwalk – the perfect strolling destination in the city! I love watching the boats go by, people watching, and puppy watching, too! Now that I’m 6.5 months pregnant, my feet tend to get swollen unless I’m wearing comfortable footwear. Sneakers and a casual dress is one of my go-to looks (check out how I styled white sneaks with a dress here and here, too) because it feels casual, yet deliberately put together. To me, Converse high tops are the ultimate “cool girl” shoe that just scream “easy-going” and “effortless.” And they’re super practical for running around the city, stopping for lunch, and checking out the new pop-up in town!
Out with the Old, In with the New
Let’s face it – we all have that one really old, dirty pair of sneakers that we can’t seem to get rid of… even though we really need to. I personally replaced my ratty old pair (RIP to my old favorite sneakers) with these sneakers and I’m SO glad I did! This season, it’s time to finally trade in your old sneakers for a squeaky clean new pair of white sneakers from Famous Footwear! Think summer and freshness! I also love these, these, and these.
