After being in New York for fashion week this weekend, I’m happy to be back home! This was my second time attending (you can read about my first time here) so I knew what to expect, but it wasn’t any less crazy or amazing!
Today’s post is from a couple of weeks ago when Dan and I discovered a delicious german restaurant in our neighborhood called Cafe Berlin.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
SHOULDER TIE TOP, SIMILAR STYLE | OLD NAVY DENIM | PRIMARK SHOES, OPTION | BAG | SUNNIES
I wore this easy shoulder tie top with my trusty white denim (last worn here). Nothing too crazy for a casual date night with the #husbandofglam! This top is really similar to the one I am wearing and there are more sizes in stock.
The food is downright incredible. I sipped a glass of wine and Dan had a wheat beer while we munched on the incredible potato pancakes as an appetizer. For my meal I got the Wurstfeast (it really is a feast!) and believe it or not, I got a HALF order. Dan decided to go with the Weinerschnitzel with Spaetzle. We loved it so much that we’ve already been back several times.

The funny thing is, Cafe Berlin is only a few blocks from our apartment, yet we had not discovered it until recently. Sometimes the greatest places are right under your nose!
Do you like German food? What’s your fave!?

p.s. – if you like my top then you’ll DEFINITELY love this dress for just $18.

Gotta love finding delicious new places to eat within close distance of your home that you never realized was there! There are a few near my house that I have recently discovered and love. I haven’t really met a food I didn’t like so all that sounds wonderful!

That top is so pretty! I love the ties on the shoulders!
Thank you so much, Laura!
I love discovering new places, especially when they are close to home. There are a bunch of new restaurants by my house that I still need to try out. This stripe top is the cutest, and I’m loving the tie shoulders!

Oh yum, the food looks great! 🙂 I’ve never eaten much German food – I do remember an awesome beer cafe in Sydney we went to that I ate at but I’ve only ever had drinks at the one in Brisbane!
Thank you for the link up!
Hope you have had a wonderful weekend 🙂
