How was your weekend?! We had 50 degree weather in Chicago yesterday so we went for a glorious family walk around our neighborhood. Fresh air + family is exactly what I need to recharge.
My Valentine’s Day Outfit
Valentine’s day is around the corner, and I’m already thinking about what to wear. Are you more of a heart and kissy-print dresser? Or do you stick to a pink and red color palette? I’m both depending on my mood the day I wake up on Valentine’s day, haha. I found this Shein sweater with hearts on the elbows, and it is safe to say I found what I’m wearing this year. Cozy with a subtle Valentine’s day theme and only $22.
If you’re going out for date night on Valentine’s day, I found a bunch of romantic pieces for that, too. I love a pretty dress with lace and feminine details for a night out. We won’t be going out for Valentine’s day this year, but I wore this dress out for my birthday last week (you can see me wearing it on my Instagram). It is the perfect date night outfit! We will be putting Sidney to sleep and making dinner at home with a nice bottle of wine. Sounds like heaven to me!

The heart elbow patches are really cute. Usually I go with pink/red, ’cause I don’t like a lot of heart prints I see.

What a cute heart detail knit! looks so cosy too! 🙂 We don’t do Valentine’s day much in Australia – although I’ve seen a few stores try (the day after is the perfect time to pickup all the leftover flowers at very reduced prices as they are rarely bought, haha!).
